The Strong Family invites you to come and enjoy their unique food, bohemian style and eclectic local artists boutique. This Maui ohana serves more than food, they offer aloha. THE FIX tends to run on Island time, so please don't be discouraged if the doors open 15 minutes after schedule, its worth the wait, or if they close early to go home and make a dinner for some of their huge visiting extended family. With that in mind, once you are there you will have an authentic experience at THE FIX with genuine
people making your food with care and love, fresh and on the spot. We are a family with lots of dynamic energy, creativity and enduring stamina. You might hear everyone screaming "He won! He won!", after another gold medal is won by Evan while out of the kitchen at a world championship in snowboarding, so don't be alarmed. You might hear quarreling siblings or see a kiss between husband and wife in the kitchen. All in all you can expect us to be authentic. Located in the center of Nevada City's historic downtown, we are the third star in Orion's Belt in the row of the best organic restaurants in town. THE FIX serves up Nevada City’s most exciting all organic, raw food, vegetarian cuisine with outrageous entrées, drinks, desserts and elixirs. At THE FIX, we create every dish using amazing super foods and the finest organic produce, sourced locally whenever possible, in our dishes. We offer indoor seating in a comfortable lounge setting, outside seating in our courtyard landscaped with edible plants like blueberries, pomegranate and kale. You are welcomed to sit at our bar and watch us prepare your super healthy dishes. From there you can see how these artful culinary masterpieces are created. Feel free to ask questions of our chefs and learn how the food is prepared or share your own recipes with us!
